Yes, Mary Pope Osborne is still writing Magic Tree House books. The series has expanded to include not only the original chapter books but also nonfiction companion books and a spin-off series called Magic Tree House Merlin Missions.

∙ 12y agoMary Pope Osborne has written 46 Magic Tree House books with her most recent book Dogs In The Dead Of Night in which Jack and Annie have to find a white and yellow flower for the second thing to return Penny (the penguin) from stone. Jack and Annie go to the Swiss Alps to find the flower but at the time of year that they go to has no flowers anywhere.
