As someone who has tried to overdose on a mixture or prozac and ibroprofen and then drank heavily, it is more than 35 pills of Prozac & 6 ibroprufen to even do anything more than make you have bad stomach ache, plus the alcohol all it results in is a collapse and hospitalization. In my case I was prescribed Prozac for suicidal tendencies and my doctors informed me that I could not kill myself on it (although I tried). It can cause substantial damage, and I was lucky as I was young my body rebounded, if you are considering this you should go and see your doctor and get referred to a therapist. There was never a risk of death in my case aside from choking on my vomit.
If you are asking this question, I think it's time to make an appointment. Something is not working properly either chemically in your brain or with the medication.
The best suggestion is to see a doctor. All it takes is asking for help.
Besides, who wants to OD? Then the docs will have to put charcoal in your stomach, pump it out and then will send you to mental health. You will then poo black for a week.
I googled it: You'll vomit bile and blood and your liver and kidneys begin to fail. You may possibly have seizures and then go into cardiac arrest. Based on 20mg capsules, perhaps a half bottle would be deadly.
Any amount larger than your doctor perscribed you is an overdose.
Not very much.
I usually take one a day and I took 17 last week and ended up in hospital for 5 days.
It's not actaully pleasant.
God knows what I was thinking :S
Yes, serotonin reuptake inhibitors can poison the body if consumed in large quantities. See a doctor for correct dosage.
Enough to change a light bulb
I have been on Prozac for over twenty years, and take Mucinex whenever I am congested and take the maximum dose. (Prozac is only 20 mg.) There are no side affects that I have ever experienced, but I suppose every case is individual. Always ask pharmacist if unsure.
Mcg means microgram it is a very small dose as taking to much can cause an over dose. The dose is one millionth of a gram.
400mgs's
Yes it can.
I am taking Prozac 60 mg and klonipin 3 mg per day could this cause me to hurt all allover be taking for 15 years...
2 dollars
Yes. Even after 3-9 months, the effectiveness can diminish due to your brain's adaptation to the dose - so the dose increases help keep up with the adaptation. Over time, you can only take so much of one med, so they switch to a new one or add another one, even though there's not much if any research on mixing various medications.

It depends on your weight and tolerance level.
Vitamins that can cause a rash are; Vitamin D, Vitamin A, and Omega-3 Fatty Acids. The rash is caused by an over dose in the vitamins and is a sign you are taking over the recommended dosage.

i wouldn't worry too much about weaning off of Prozac...it's acclimating to effexor (and weaning off of it) that's tough.that said, effexor worked wonderfully for me, pulling me out of a very deep hole.it's just that it has side effects that can be pretty rough.
