I am not an American Citizen but I do know that in 2005 there were an estiminated 220000 Vets from the Second World War still alive and well in Canada. They range in age from 83-86. My Dad is a vet and he will be 90 next year. He was on Juno Beach the day it all came to a head. Vets are special people who deserve our highest respect. I say this not only for the Canadian vets but all vets who risked their lives for the freedom and well being of others. As for me I honour Vets all year round not only on Remembrance Day. I am against war on any scale and support US and Canadian troops all over the world. We pray as always to have them home safely. Margaret McKee.
Not very many, and most will be in their mid 80's by now.
