So in total, the number of allied tanks used in ww2 in europe was about 180,000. According to certain sources the Allies in Europe lost about 140,000 tanks and 20,000 were due to mechanical break downs or abandoned due to damages recieved but nor destroyed. The total of Tanks destroyed by the Germans were about 110,000-120,000.
