:D Well i think it all depends on what you believe in and on your views on vegetarianism as many vegetarians don't mind eating products with animal traces in it for example some vegetarians eat Haribos which contain gelatin so it depends on whether you think that it is acceptable to eat things like that or whether you believe that they shouldn't eat anything with animal traces inside of it :D i hope this has helped you in any way ;) Since every living thing on the planet shares 95% of its DNA with every other living thing, one or two animal genes in a vegetable is probably not going to make it pull up its roots and start walking around. Until it does, I think it's safe to call it vegetarian. It may not qualify as vegan, but that's an issue for them to deal with.
