This is so sad if you ask me. I am doing a project on this.
they like to play with each other
they like to play with each other
Arctic foxes only breed once each year.
Arctic foxes have no set feeding schedule and will eat whenever food is available.
about 30 or 40 pounds of food a day.
No, wolves do not eat arctic foxes.Sometimes, though they usually go for easier to catch game like hares or caribou. The Arctic Fox avoids them unless they are sneaking around. They are very fast too. So the Arctic Wolf and Arctic Fox rarely eat each other.
The difference between the fennec fox and the arctic fox it that the fennec fox lives in hot conditions, and the arctic fox live in colder conditions. Also, they don't look like each other, the fennec fox has large ears so it can loose heat fast from it giant span, and it is has a much smaller skeleton to the arctic fox. Also, the fennec fox is an gingery colour. The arctic fox has small ears so it doesn't loose as much heat so it can stay warm in it harsh environment, it has white fur, and a much bigger skeleton to the fennec fox.
lets just say A LOT
Foxes don't usually live in "communities", they aren't pack hunters like other animals may be. They might live in family groups such as a mother and her offspring and would help each other by protecting each other and hunting for food.
Red foxes are more widespread, living almost anywhere in the world, whereas artic foxes live in mostly polar areas (Outskirts of Greenland, Russia, Etc.) Red foxes have an orangish coat, with black ears and black socks, whereas artic foxes are a thick snow white all over to help them blend in with their natural envoroment. If you need any more info, just ask :)
They can drink the mother's milk or the mother brings food for them
