As of June 2011, Jupiter has 67 confirmed natural satellites, or "moons" orbiting the planet Jupiter. 50 are named moons and 17 have provisional designations based on the year they were first sighted.
(see the related question and links)
there is one artificial satellite in orbit around Saturn called Cassini--Huygens, which entered orbit around the planet in 2004. Its still there now and may carry on orbiting the planet until 2017 and beyond.
Saturn has over 60 known natural satellites.
We're not entirely sure. At last report, we had discovered 63 natural satellites, but it's almost certain that there are more that have (so far) escaped notice. This does not include smaller objects in the partial ring structure around Jupiter.
None that we know of. All of Jupiter's satellites are natural, unless of course someone else, not of this Earth, put one or more there...
The planet Jupiter has no man made satellites as of August of 2014. Several earth objects has passed by Jupiter, but none are in orbit.
As at August 2017, there are 69 of them.
none
Ganymede Jupiter's moon has 6 satellites in total from the north Pole on the Earth.
jupiter has the maximum number of satellites.... of almost 63 moons
Jupiter has 60 satellites but its largest ones are io europa callisto and ganymede
Jupiter, with 63 satellites.
Jupiter actually has many satellites. As of February 2004, Jupiter had a confirmed number of 63 satellites, ranging from the largest four, the Galilean moons, Ganymede, Io, Callisto, and Europa. 53-55 of Jupiter's satellites are tiny and unimportant, small space objects caught in the planet's gravity
Jupiter has 63 moons or satellites.
Yes, Jupiter has many satellites.
Jupiter has over 60.
approximately 63 natural satellites are revolving around the BIG Jumbo "Jupiter".
no, actually there 63
There are three rings I don't know about satellites
Yes, Jupiter is the planet with the most satellites - 63 of them
number and name of satellites around jupiter
Ganymede Jupiter's moon has 6 satellites in total from the north Pole on the Earth.
If I knew the answer, I wouldn't have asked.
