How many atoms does a molecule of NaCl have?

The formula unit -NaCl - (not a molecule) contain two atoms.

Is sodium chloride is a diatomic?

The correct term for ionic salts (as sodium chloride) is formula unit, not molecule; sodium chloride form very large structural lattices.

How many atoms are in the element NaCl?

In one molecule of NaCl there are two ions, Na+ and Cl-.

How many atoms are in one molecule of sodium chloride?

For sodium chloride the term formula unit is more adequate than molecule; and the formula unit has two atoms.

What types of atoms are in sodium chloride?

Sodium clhoride (NaCl) contain atoms of sodium and chlorine.

Why is sodium chloride not organic compound?

A molecule is a grouping of more than one atom. Sodium chloride contains a sodium atom and a chlorine atom. It's also called a compound because the two atoms are from different elements.

How many sodium atoms are in a molecule of a borax?

Borax - Na2B4O7 - contain two sodium atoms.
