How many babies do white mice have?
They have 8 babies.
Well that all depends on their genetics. The white fur of the mouse is reccessive, so if they're hybrid mice then there is a chance some of their offspring will be a color other than white, such as brown. But if they're pure white mice, then yes, there is a 100% chance that their offspring will be white as wel.l
Even with very aggressive males, I've never seen a male mouse eat it's babies. Many male mice are actually helpful and will care for the babies as well. A female mouse can get pregnant again within 24 hours of having a litter of mice, so if you don't want mice everywhere, it's best to take the male out. If you'd like to give your mouse some help, female mice tend to get along really well…
One of my mice has had two litters, only bearing three babies each time. Another one of my girls, who was only 4 months old, had 13 babies. Domesticated or wild, mice can have up to 100 babies a year. They will only be able to get pregnant 4 times a year and they can have as many as 25 babies at a time. It's perfectly normal- although the mama may need some extra TLC.
