You shouldn't really look at the month but, in a YEAR, not month, not week, a YEAR it should lay 8-9 eggs. It shouldn't be laying eggs every month or else it will die. And if it is, try putting warm olive oil down where the eggs come out (which I know you wouldn't try) or take it to an emergency room.
There are many, many species of Australian parrot. "Australian parrot" is not a species or type of bird.
All birds can only ever lay one egg at once.
On average, parrots in Australia lay a clutch of around 3-4 eggs, but some individual birds keep laying infertile eggs endlessly.
Parakeets lay eggs. A female can go into a laying cycle even if there is no male around to have fertilized them. In that case the eggs will obviously be infertile and will not hatch. A typical laying cycle is where the female lays from two up to twelve eggs. This is called a "clutch". She normally will lay an egg every other day or every third day until she is through the clutch. How many laying cycles she goes thru a year is dependent on her genetics and her age.
Well they lay one at a time and lay another every other day, but they can have anywhere from 1-8 eggs, most of the time they will have at least 2, but remember not every egg will be fertile or survive, my female layed 6 eggs all hatched but two babies died.
Usually 1-6 eggs at a time. Fun Fact: A group of eggs that a parakeet lays is called a clutch.
1 to 4 eggs are the most common amounts. Although they can have up to 6! Hope i was some help to you!
I've had parakeets for years and the usual klutch is 4 however 3 to 5 is not uncommon.
A parakeet lays 3*3=9 in three days
2 to 3 days
No. Parakeets are supposed to lay many eggs, kind of like a chicken.
For parakeet eggs, letting the parents incubate the eggs and raise the young is best. If you plan on breeding your parakeets I would recommend getting books or reading on the internet information specific to the species of parakeet you would like to raise, there are many different types and each type has its own special needs. If you have only 1 parakeet and it has lain an egg on the bottom of the cage you may discard that egg. Since there is no boy bird, and the egg was not laid in a nest specific to that type of parakeet it will not hatch.
