Of course. All animals get food. Thorny devils feed exclusively on ants, which they collect with their tongue. Baby thorny devils begin feeding on ants as soon as they have dug their way out of the hatching chamber, easily consuming thousands of ants in their first sitting.
Thorny devils are essentially varying patchy shades of brown and gold, which enables them to blend in with their desert surroundings. Newly hatched baby thorny devils tend towards black in colour.

Just like the adult Thorny Devil only smaller. Thorny Devils reach maturity at about three years old.
around the thousand that hatched around ten.
The incubation period of thorny devils varies with the temperature of the burrow in which the eggs are laid. In cooler areas, the young develop in the eggs for about 18 weeks before they hatch. In warmer areas, this may be reduced to around 13 weeks.
Thorny devils hatch from eggs which are laid in burrows about 30cm underground. Incubation is 3-4 months. After emerging from the eggs, baby thorny devils must dig up to the surface. The parents take no part in raising the young thorny devils, as the babies are completely independent and will start eating ants within half an hour of emerging from the sand. For the first year, male and female thorny devils initially grow at the same rates for the first year. After that, the females grow much quicker than the males, depending on the season, with Winter being the time of the slowest growth. Thorny devils start mating at around three years, but they are not fully mature until they are around 5 to 6 years old. The life span of the thorny devil is around 20 years.
They don't. Female thorny devils lay between 3 and 10 eggs in a burrow with a chamber. This burrow may be about 30 cm below the surface. After laying the eggs, the female backfills the burrow, leaving a chamber filled with air. She then leaves the eggs. The eggs incubate for anywhere between 3 and 6 months, depending on the outside temperature (they hatch sooner in hot weather). Once the baby thorny devils hatch, they are able to start eating ants almost immediately.
