They have one calf at a time.
There's not a certain time of the year when the killer whale reaches the south pole. Killer whales are found throughout the South and North Pole.
Killer whales. Killer whales are the oceans most apex predators. They have been seen preying on whales including the blue whale. The killer whale itself is actually not a whale it is a dolphin. The reason it is called a killer whale is because researchers and whalers saw the dolphin killing whales so they called it the killer of whales which has been over time shortened to killer whale. :)
No because the megladon is way bigger and would just eat the killer whale and because the megladon is dead so how is a killer whale supposed to go back in time to kill one if it could kill one?
killer whales like to is spending time together and it likes to jump in the air
It is a mammal, a member of the dolphin family. The killer whale's scientific name is 'Orcinus Orca', And it is actually the largest of the dolphin family. It got its name Killer Whale, which was shortened from Killer OF whales, as they sometimes kill other dolphins, and whales. They are NOT a porpoise, whale or fish (although the name porpoise is sometimes applied to them).
There is one species of dolphin that hunts whales and that is a killer whale. In case you did not know killer whales are actually a species of oceanic dolphin in the family delphinidae. The reason we call it a killer whale is because it has been seen killing whales the name killer whale was originally killer of whales but over time has been shortened to killer whale. Killer whales will hunt down whale calves and have even been known trying to prey on blue whales ! :)
Man is the killer whales major enemy. Man has been hunting the whale for a long time and has reduced their numbers. Man hunts the whale for sport, meat, and blubber. Japan is the largest whale hunter region in the world and will readily harpoon one.
It would be hard for the killer whale to reach the elephant, kill it, and then get into the water in time before it suffocates, not including the fact it has a very hard time moving even a few inches on land.
hammer head sharks, killer whale, blue whale, sorry I don't know of anyo=more at the time!
Depends on the type of shark. If its a huge quick shark it will kill quicker then the killer whale. If its something like the hammerhead, the killer whale may kill quicker. It also depends on how much energy and how hungry and how strong they are at the time.
Ocra babies are called calves. Ocra whales take care of their young and invest a lot of time in them. After birth, they push their calves towards the surface of the water so they can breathe. *to make it easier just call them BLUBBER LIES JK LOL
