She was a high school history teacher in the 60's to 70's at The Academy of Our Lady of Peace San Diego, CA, after graduating from CSU Northridge. Anne has been writing since she was a little child, getting rejection notices from the time she was eight years old. Her first published stories were westerns under the name A.E. Schraff. She continued to write and publish while teaching until she received a contract for a book series. She gave up teaching to pursue her dream of being an author. (She was an awesome history teacher, the best I ever had!!)
