There are currently three books in this awesome series and I don't think there will be any more.
Trenton Lee Stewart [TLS] has written 4 books in total. The books: Flood summer Mysterious Benedict society Mysterious Benedict society: Periolus journey Mysterious Benedict society: The prisoners dilema
The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey and The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisioner's Dilemma. There is also a prequel, The Extraordianary education of Nicholas Benedict.
I do not think so. However, Trenton Lee Stewart is writing a book on "the education of Nicholas Benedict. For more about this, go to the MBS home page and type in the code "plaidisbad." (From the poem constance wrote about plaid being bad in the third book).
Yes, there will be at least 2 more books in the Mysterious Benedict Society Series, Sadly, I don't think that either of them will continue the story of the first three. They are called: The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict, and Mr. Benedict's Book of Perplexing Puzzles, Elusive Enigmas, and Curious Conundrums. The first is about Mr. Benedict's life as a child; the latter's a collections of puzzles, riddles, and tests, and is not a novel.
In basically all of the books, the main conflict is the four children (Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance) vs. Ledroptha Curtain.
So far there are only three books.
Nope, actually it is an adult book. Trenton Lee Stewart did write a series of 3 MYSTERY BOOKS for children, though. They are called The Mysterious Benedict Society, and I think they are really good!! :D
in the paperback books it has that "some of you are wishing to know my given name" (refering to mr Benedict) he also states that "the answer is within your grasp" and he means litterally... the Morse code on the back is his given name!
Answer: The Mysterious Benedict Series. Hope i spelled that right. Answer: Harry Potter / "Little House" series by Laura Ingals Wilder / Alice in Wonderland, and Through the Looking Glass / Winnie the Pooh / several mystery novels by Enid Blyton
This book did not take place in any certain year as this is a fictioal book with fictioal setting.
Try talking to your parents about reading at a good time when they are happy, or ask about getting a new book some books I have read and really like are the Harry Potter series or the Mysterious Benedict Society, or Percy Jackson, or Peter and the Star Catchers series all of those are amazing books that I really, really liked!!!!
Well these particular chapter books would be for 10-12 year olds (I'm 11 and I LOVEEEE them). These are all ONE series:The Mysterious Benedict SocietyThe Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous JourneyThe Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner's DilemmaThey are all by Trenton Lee Stewart and cover about 400 something pages. But they are sooooo good! Some words are complicated but still easy for brains to comprehend. You know, I'm starting not to sound much like an 11 year old. Haha. The first book is about four children chosen to be sent on a secret mission to stop an evil mastermind from brainsweeping everyone around the world, but they also must keep their identity a secret from anyone who might be able to harm them. These have been awarded as "Golden Sowers". Or--really good books that have been awarded for a reason. These books are mostly about friendship. Really heartwarming, swashbuckling, and of course--mysterious at the same time.If you have kids that have just started reading chapter books, I would suggest the "Junie B. Jones" series by Barbara Park. Very skinny books. ;).They are about a kindergartener that learns lessons while being cute and curious. I used to read them. :)Hope that helps!
