About 17,000,000 brain cells die every time you sneeze. Does not sound like a lot but you sneeze a lot throughout your lifetime.
none thats the silliest thing ive ever heard
I really have no idea. I have been trying to find an answer for a little bit now....gurf :(
by asking this question, i think youve already lost all of yours
prbably more than the average person
drugs smoking and drinking
It used to be said that we are born with all the brain cell (neurons) that we will ever have but that has been changing. According to the latest estimates, the brain contains about 86 billion neurons and roughly the same number of glial cells (supporting cells). As far as we know, the vast majority of these cells are produced during early pregnancy; about 250,000 every minute. The rest are produced during a short period of time after birth, maybe up to a year. The brain produces at least twice as many cells than it actually needs to work properly.Neurons begin to die before we have even been born and continue to die every day of our lives. Researchers have estimated that about 85,000 neurons die every day in the cerebral cortex. That’s equivalent to one every second.
It all depends on which cells. Some are not replaced. These are mostly nerve cells such as found in the brain. Other cells constantly die and are shed and replaced from tissues below them. An example of this are your skin cells.
NO, brain cells are no a part of the cell cycle. They have their own cycle called the Mitorfolder. This is a dangerous process. While your brain is going through this cycle, usually at age 40, do not drink. Drinking sends a message to the brain to stop working. You will die during this process if you drink. I hope you die.
Alzheimer's disease
Brain cells do NOT die when a person sneezes. First, if you observe a baby and toddler and counted how many times they sneeze before 2 years old, if your question was true, NO one would have a brain left! Second, brain cells only 'die' under certain conditions, including:lack of blood flow to the brain (such as stroke, TIA)lack of glucose to brain cellsbrain swelling such as after a severe head injury
I haven't seen any information relating to holding a sneeze and killing brain cells by doing so. However, a sneeze is your body's way of trying to get rid of an irritant as in the form of allergies, or a cold or flu virus. Holding a sneeze is not a good idea as whatever irritant sitting inside your nose will not be evacuated and may get into the sinuses and other airways and cause infection.
Yes, you can die from holding in your sneeze, because your sneeze can go about 90 miles per hour and so if you do hold it in you can suffer from brain damage!
A LOT. It's not worth it.
brain cells die all the time, it is almost impossible to tell if they die when you stop thinking.
When you play mindless games on a computer many brain cells die of bordom, if you do useful work on a computer you may well grow new brain cells
Brain cells die anyway everyday...
yes
We need Brain cells to make us think and to make sure nothing is wrong with are Brain but sadly if one of our Brain cells die we loose abit of our thoughts.
Brain cells start to die at around 106 or 107 F
Brain cells start to die
No. Actually, the opposite should happen - by thinking, you strain certain cells, which then react by developing more synapses with other cells. Unused brain cells will degenerate synapses and eventually die.
