Depending on how many litters a year they have. Two litters a year is a lot and the little gals will burn out quickly. Responsible breeders should space litters out and try to limit the females to one litter a year. This way your mamas should breed and have puppies for several years, between ages 4 to 6. Also females should be bred for the first time until somewhere between one and two years of age. NOT BEFORE! They are too young and immature both mentally and physically. By waiting you will have better mamas resulting in stronger and healthier puppies.
