16 inch round cake... 15 cups batter. I would just get a few cake mixes and measure 15 cups of batter. Although I have looked it up and it sounds right... there are 4 1/2 cups of batter in one cake mix box.
A 16 x 2 cake will require approximately 55 - 60 minutes at 325F.
A 16 x 3 cake will need 75-80 minutes at 325 F.
With a cake this size, you should use a heating core or flower nail in the center, as well as no-bake strips (or dampened towels) around the outside of the pan, in order to prevent the edges of the cake from baking before the middle is done.
Depends what the cake is made of. Follow the time recommended in the recipe and as the time approached get a clean skewer and stick it into the middle of the cake. If the skewer comes out clean the cake is cooked if it comes out sticky then the cake needs more time - keep testing every 10 mins.
If your using standard size cake mix boxes, usually it takes on box to make two 2 in. round cakes, so that would equal 2 whole boxes for two 16 in. round cakes.

To bake a cake you need to have the Oven in your kitchen. Also you need the following ingredients: -Egg -Milk -Butter -Breadfruit This is all in the recipe section. Also I like to add a little flavor to mine and make it a Cocoa Cake. (On my last Thanksgiving I gave out 16. Baking cakes is so much fun even if it's not real! ^_^)
