That depends on the salad. A fruit salad would have more than just a vegetable salad. Also if you have meat that would have even more. If you had dressing, the salad would have quite a lot of calories.
If you had just salad and carrots, calories would probably be no more than 100-200 Calories. Fruit Salad might have 100-200 more. Dressing would add 500-600 calories. Meat might add 300 or so calories.
15 calories.
Generally speaking, 5 lbs of potato salad will fee 30 people. 12 people would be a little over half of that, so around 2.5 lbs of potato salad.
2 tablespoons (1 serving) are about 40 calories.
That is 56 ounces
It will depend on the salad, but salad itself has few calories. I just ate half a bag of Dole American salad and it had about 15 calories per serving (half a bag is 2 servings). So, 30 calories. Ranch dressing is like 75 calories per tablespoon. I'd bet you add at least a half cup or 8 table spoons. for 600 calories in dressing. In addition dressing is all fat calories and normally bad fat. My advice is skip the ranch unless you really need the calories. I personal did need them because I wasn't getting enough with what I was eating. Try oil and vinegar dressings.
