HOW MANY CALORIES IN ONE SCRAMBLED EGG

The calorie content is determined by the size of the egg and what other ingredients might or might not be added to the dish.

Here are some examples for chicken eggs:

PLAIN (no milk, butter, oil, or anything else added)

  • 78 calories if made with 1 large egg (using a non-stick pan)

WITH WHOLE MILK AND BUTTER
  • 123 calories using 1 large egg, 1 tablespoon of ordinary milk and 1 teaspoon of fat such as butter
  • (33-34 calories are in each teaspoon of butter, 101 calories are in each tablespoon of butter, 1 tablespoon of oil is more, depending on the type of oil)

WITH NON FAT MILK (but no fat, butter or oil)
  • 160 calories if made with 1 large egg and 1 tablespoon of non-fat milk
