Many of them, if not all of them, I think.

I cry...not because of the actual divorce...but when my parents got divorced, my mom and I moved over 1,000 miles away from our home....I miss my best friend so much...and my home. I cry because it hurts to be so far away from where I grew up. So, I'm sure many kids cry because their parents got divorced. I was actually slightly happy to move since I don't like my dad.

How many children that come from divorce families become divorce thenselves?

About 72% of the world's children become divorced after their parents are. This happens because the children watch their parents actions and learn from them. For example, if a parent says to their child to watch out for a man/women if they start acting nervous on a date with you, the child starts to watch out. Then the child will exaggerate and divorce someone or break up with them.

Is 50 50 custody recommended by the courts after a divorce?

In many cases joint custody is recommended when divorcing because children come first. To children their parents are still 'mom and dad' and if young they do not understand what is going on and in some cases the children can blame themselves for their parents divorcing. Do children going through a divorce need support and reassurance from their parents?

Yes, children need all the positive support they can get regarding a divorce between parents. Children only know one thing ... mom and dad and have no idea what the problems are between the parents. Children often believe it was their fault the parents are splitting up and feel if they had behaved better or hadn't done so many things wrong their parents would not be divorcing or already divorce. It is extremely important the divorced parents act like the mature adults they should be for the sake of the children and by putting each other down it tears the children between their parents often causing depression; eating disorders; gastrointestinal problems and a drop in their grades at school. Mom and dad should at least shake hands and be friends when dealing with the children. If they are angry then they should discuss it between themselves and away from the children.

Because many children have parents who can not or will not take care of them properly or at all. There are not enough adoptive parents to adopt all children without parents.
