William B. Travis had two children with Rosanna Cato: a son named Charles Edward Travis and a daughter named Susan Isabella Travis. Their family was affected by the events of the Texas Revolution, particularly Travis's role at the Alamo. After his death at the Alamo in 1836, Rosanna raised their children on her own.
Colonel William Travis was married at one point to a woman by the name of Rosanna Cato. They had a son together, and were about to have a daughter when Travis abandoned them in 1831 to start his life over in Texas.
