Each daughter cell will have 52 chromosomes. This is because mitosis produces daughter cells which are genetically identical to the parent cell. Therefore they will have the same number of chromosomes.

Each daughter cells will contain 52 chromosomes after mitosis.

After the replication during mitosis, the chormosomes become 104 (52x2).

Later, they divide into two cells which splits the origainal 104 chromosomes into two (104/2) giving us 52 chromosomes as the final answer.

If the parent cells undergo meiosis, then the final number of chromosomes each daughter cell contains is 26.

in mitosis each daughter cell would contain the same amout of chromosomes as the original parent cell, therefore each would countain 52, because it is diploid.

How many chromosomes does each new cell contain after mitosis if the original cell had 52 original cell chromosomes?

They would each have 52. When a cell divides through mitosis, it copies the original chromosomes, pulls them apart so that there is a copy of the same set of chromosomes on each side of the cell, then divides. The original set of chromosomes will always be the exact same set as the daughter cell's set of chromosomes (unless something went horribly wrong.) -if you are on a worksheet called "Section 1 Reinforcement - Cell Division and Mitosis" for number 8, I'm in the same situation...

What is present when you compare the number and type of cells that result from mitosis and meiosis?

Meiosis results in 4 haploid daughter cells with only half the number of chromosomes as the original cell.Mitosis results in 2 diploid daughter cells with the same number of chromosomes as the original cell.meiosis 4 and mitosis 2In mitosis, the daughter cells (2 produced per cell division) contain 2 copies of each chromosome (similar to the parent cell before division)In meosis, the daughter cells (2 produced per cell division) contain only one copy of each chromosome (half the chromosomal content of the parent cell)Meiosis results in 4 haploid daughter cells with only half the number of chromosomes as the original cell.Mitosis results in 2 diploid daughter cells with the same number of chromosomes as the original cell.

If a cell has four chromosomes before mitosis how many chromosomes will the cell have after mitosis?

Well, the original parent has 8 chromosomes, and the result of mitosis is 2 diploid daughter cells, so both daughter cells will end up wit the same number of chromosomes as the mother-8. ok woow to much writing in more simple terms that would mean 16 cells during- 8 cells after

How many chromosomes does each cell contain at the end of meiosis 2?

each cell has 4 chromosomes after meosis It depends on what organism. if each cell has42 chromosomes then the cells after mitosis have 42 in meosis they end up having half of 42 and have four cells because the do mitosis 2

How many chromosomes are in the daughter cell in meiosis II?

The four daughter cells of meiosis II are haploid, so they will have half the number of chromosomes as the diploid parent cell. In humans, there are 46 chromosomes in the diploid body cells, and 23 chromosomes in the haploid daughter cells of meiosis II. In females, one of the four daughter cells will contain the most cytoplasm and organelles, and will form an egg cell. In males, all four daughter cells will form sperm cells.
