depending on the year many of them give you codes by blinking the engine light after you turn the key on off on off on they always start with 1 blink then 2 which means 12 which i think means start of test. ends 0n 55(end of test. to understand the codes you need a haynes manual as there are too many to list here.
Many codes are here but the instructions say that there is an indicator light on the Systemlink5. My Systemlink5AV has no such indicator light.
