You need to ask at least 3 questions, contribute at least 10 answers or improvements to answers and make 15 assorted edits. See the related links for the help centre on how to become a supervisor.
To become a supervisor, you need good contributions, as well as knowledge of how to use the site and observe its rules. That means good answering, editing, etc. Currently, there is no set amount of contributions or trust points needed to become a supervisor, but this may change in the future.
Generally, you don't become a Supervisor based upon on how many contributions you've made to Answers as far as answering questions, editing questions etc., you become a Supervisor based on your personality as far as how you treat others. You could also become a Supervisor a lot easier if you're in the Special Project Assistants program.
The more contributions, the better! About 100 quality contributions is seen as the minimum, but more than that is excellent.
A Senior Supervisor is not like a Senior Citizen where once a certain age, they are deemed into that category. A Senior Supervisor is a Super that has made many valuable contributions to WikiAnswers and has been around for a while on the site.
The thing that matters more than the number of contributions is the quality of contributions. On WikiAnswers, even though you may have 1,000 contributions, many may be vandalism. The better the quality, the better the chances. Also, there are a few requirements that need to be met. See the related question below.
You are required to make 100,000 contributions to become a Platinum Contributor.Contributions include answering questions, asking questions, editing questions and recategorizing questions.
The requirements to become a supervisor are:Ask at least three questions.Contribute at least 10 answers to questions.Make at least 15 assorted edits, eg. improving questions, moving them, adding related questions and links, etc.You must be at least 15 years of age.Meeting the above requirements does not always mean you are ready to become a supervisor. Supervisors need to understand how WikiAnswers works and all of the rules on the site. If you are trying to become a supervisor you might want to consider joining one of the programs on WikiAnswers, like the SPA program, WIT, or WikiReviewers.
