Don't worry about it those screens are all faulty & blink coolant temp sensor.
Coolant temperature sensors are usually located on the radiator.
most coolant temp sensors are located on the intake or the thermostant housing, but i have seen some on the heads
Tps, map, coolant temp, cam, crank, knock,
1 and the coolant temp sensor is located in the head under the upper rad hose
where are the temp sensors on a 2002 jeep liberty sport located
On the transmission side of the cylinder head. there is a plastic flange with hoses and sensors in it. Coolant temp sensor is the 4 pin snesor
Should be two. One for the temp gauge (located between cylinders 3 & 5) and the other (located close to the thermostat housing) for the ECM to monitor.
IAT= intake are temperature sensor ECT= engine coolant temp. sensor
coolant temp sensor, does just what it says,it relays your coolant temp to gauges!
The engine coolant temp (ECT) sensor monitors the engine temp and sends that info to the engine control module (ECM). The ECM takes in info from many sensors including the ECT to determine the correct air/fuel ratio for the conditions. So to answer your question, yes. The ECT sensor does play a part in fuel control.
The 1999 Mazda B3000 typically has two temperature sensors: the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor and the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. The ECT sensor monitors the temperature of the engine coolant, while the IAT sensor measures the temperature of the incoming air. These sensors are crucial for the engine management system to optimize performance and fuel efficiency.
