No there is not such a thing as a curse. Many of the curses we hear about today are what they call old wives tales.
Believe it or not it can infact kill you. However it is a series of unfortunate events that usually results from the papercut - things like infection etc. The other point to remember is that many cuts can kill as well so if you received papercuts all over your body then you would die from that as well. The actual chances of you dieing from a single papercut however are incredily small.
