365.242199 or roughly 365 ¼ days

In a normal year there are 365 calendar days. In a leap year there are 366.

The actual period of a year, based on the revolution of the Earth around the Sun is 365.256366 days or 1.0000175 years.

For simplicity, one can say that there are 365.25 days in a year or 365 days in a year for 3 years and 366 days every fourth year.

There is still a small difference which is addressed once every hundred years or so, by skipping a Leap Year unless the century number is divisible by 4 (e.g. 2000 was a leap year, 2100, 2200, 2300 are not).
365
365 but every four years there are 366. That's because Earth's full revolution around the Sun is 365.25 days. They make up for it by taking the .25 from every four years to equal one day.
Normally 365 days, but 366 on a leap year (every 4 years)

This, of course, refers to one year on earth.

A year is the time it takes for a body to orbit the sun. That time will vary according to the distance the body is from the sun. Hence all planets have a 'year' but they are of different lengths of time.
