Over 100,000,000 million people had to finish it if it wasn't done yet or if it wasn't done properly.
They were buried in all sorts of places like in Pyramids and under ground tombs like nower days. They were also put in wooden/gold/silver/etc coffins or had a death mask made if they were a Pharaoh... But the question is Were all Egyptians buried?
Pharaohs tell us about many things about ancient Egyptian society. It can tell us about religion and the fact that they were dedicated to building and worshiping of there god or otherwise known as there pharaoh. they spent years and generations building monuments, tombs, ziggurats, and pyramids for there pharaohs. They didn't really question authority and was thankful for what they got, perhaps that is what we as a society has lost now a days.
They put bowls, food, jewellery, clothing statues, sandals, games in their tombs. basically anything you had would be put in with you. mummified pets, replicas of servants anything really! they sp put pots in too! :D -Lcheg
They put all their riches and painted he walls and casket with pictures of what they wanted to have in the afterlife. Ex: servants serving them. They would also include food so they did not starve and priests often brought more every few days.
First, the egyptians removed internal organs, such as the heart, lungs, things like that. Then, they would coat the body in epsom salt. After 70 days, they would wrap the mummy in the cloth, and put them in their tombs, as their final resting place.
Mummies weren't really used for anything but the Egyptians believed that pharaohs and kings should be treated well and go into the afterlife. Egyptians would preserve the body which was called mummification for 70 days long. Later in Egtptian life thieves were open to wealthy possesions so they stopped preserving bodies.
