How much does an off shore electrician make?

$40/hour

How do you get electricity from the house to the garage?

If the garage is detached, have a subpanel installed. I would recommend having a professional electrician do this. : IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY SURE YOU CAN DO THIS JOB : SAFELY AND COMPETENTLY : REFER THIS WORK TO QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS. : If you do this work yourself, always turn off the power at the breaker box/fuse panel BEFORE you attempt to do any work AND always use an electrician's test meter having metal-tipped probes (not a simple proximity voltage indicator) to insure the circuit is, in fact, de-energized.

Screw driver accidentally touched ground wire while screwing a hot black wire in the light switch box. The power went out but the circuit breaker did not trip. Can you tell me how to fix it?

If you didn't burn the wire off then the breaker did trip. Sometimes a tripped breaker is hard to see. Go down the whole panel switching each individual breaker off and then on again. This should rectify the problem. A word from the wise, I have been an electrician for 42 years and always shut the power off before working on equipment.

What is first year electrician wage?

Usually 50% of Journeyman's wages. If you are going union, currently Journeyman wages are $32.50. Non-union depends on the company, but usually around $25ish. So as a first year apprentice, expect between $12 and $15 per hour. Not bad for knowing nothing right off the bat!

Why does my electric range pass electricity into my hand through the pan I just moved into a new place and the stove sent electric shocks up my arms everytime I grabbed the pan had to turn it off?

It sounds like your stove is missing a ground wire. Sounds like one of your elements has shorted to ground. Shut the stove off at the breaker and get a qualified electrician to look at the problem. For you to get a shock you must have had your other hand on the stove or you are standing on a grounded medium. (eg concrete floor.) DO NOT USE THE STOVE. The amount of current you could receive could kill you.
