On average 35 people are killed every year by whales world wide. These are not usually due to bites or being eaten but usually due to heavy impact caused by swinging of the tail or contact with the whale itself, a person would usually die of internal bleeding or brain haemorrhage due to the impact.

In captivity one in the late 70's I belive. In the wild, who knows?

As far as we know Orcas have only killed 3 people in their history.

.........................

There is no way to estimate how many people have been killed by orca, or by most other causes of death.

Perhaps you could narrow down your criteria? Restrict it, maybe, to a particular area, or time? Also to whether the cause of death by orca is direct (being attacked and killed by an orca, for example) or indirect (dying in a boating accident involving an orca, or from being fatally injured while avoiding an orca, or from poisoning involving eating orca, for example).
