However, there are many different types of owls, and below is a sampling of a few of the most interesting types of owls, where they live, and their characteristics.
"Owl" and "turbit" are both breeds of pigeons, so I'm guessing you're not referring to the nocturnal raptor "owl." Turbits are characterized by small, crested heads and ruffled breasts. Owls are characterized by small beaks. I suppose a pigeon could be bred to have both characteristics, but generally owls and turbits are separate breeds.
