Sinai Tapestry has 407 pages.
Aside from the fact that there is no consensus as to which particular mountain is Mount Sinai, most of the Sinai Peninsula is unoccupied desert. There is Saint Catherine's Monastery, which is an Orthodox christian monastery, at the foot of one of the many supposed Mount Sinai's. However, there is no settlement on or in the mountain.
Egypt is home to many mountains, but the most famous mountain is doubtlessly Mount Sinai in the the Sinai peninsula. Mount Sinai is believed to be one possible location for the biblical Mount Sinai and as such is a holy site for the abrahamic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
The distance between the above places is 4153 miles. This distance is point to point straight distance. The actual distance may vary according to the flight path chosen. Also this is not the airport to airport precise distance.
Infinitely many.
It is 2,077 miles by auto. Or about 32 hours. For future reference, you can go to http://maps.yahoo.com/dd You put in the starting point and the destination, and it tells you how many miles, how many hours to get there, and provides driving directions. It is about 1747 miles point-to-point geographically (as the crow flies).
There are infinitely many points on a line, as a line extends endlessly in both directions. Each point on a line can be uniquely identified by its position on the line using the coordinates of the point.
...directions of cleavage...
It reflects in different directions because its rough, there is many sides so the light reflects of the sides causing it to reflect in different directions.
Light rays reflect in many directions on a rough surface due to the uneven nature of the surface, which causes the rays to scatter in various directions rather than reflect uniformly as with a smooth surface.
It depends on your reference point. You are moving when you move farther away from one reference point and closer to another. So an example of this could be that the floor is one reference point, and the ceiling is another. If you jump up, you would move closer to the ceiling and farther away from the floor. If you and a friend are your reference points, and you throw a ball to your friend, the ball moved bacause it went farther from you, and closer to your friend! That is how you know an object is moving! Now, technically we are always moving... the earth is moving! So if you are thinking about it like that, then maybe the sun is one reference point, and Mars could be the other! Who knows! But it just all depends on your reference point!
