a registered horse is a horse that is being or going to be showed. wheter they horse/owner pair compete in showmanship/horsemanship or English and western they horse will need to be registered. just like the akc for dogs is a registration.there is many diffrent horse organisations. and say if you were to breed your horse... you would get alot more money for a registered horse than a non registered horse. also if you were to sell the horse.
