A few of the stray dogs get picked up and adopted by the pound. Many people suggest if you want a dog or cat get them from an animal shelter. In answer to your question it depends on where you get them. if its from an animal shelter than yes many dogs get homes after they are strays. if your getting them from the pound probably not as many.
