A team of sled dogs could be as few as two dogs. Typical teams range from four to as many as twenty dogs depending on what they are being run for.
About 5 maybe 6 it depends on the strength of the dogs like there weak or strong if you have strong Dogs then 4!

A musher cooks some snow so they have water, they eat as well as their dogs too. And if it is a overnight checkpoint then they have a camp tent and a special sleeping bag that rises up to the nose and mouth (i dont remember the name) hope this helps.
