Eggs are produced from cells called Oocytes
One cell is produced from one primary oocyte. Therefore 10 eggs can be potentially produced from 10 primary oocytes.
Eggs will not form
They are produced in the ovaries. However, fertilization takes place in the Fallopian Tubes.
Female gametes are called oocytes.
They are called oocytes and lie within the ovaries.
Almost a thousand eggs!
In 2001 Connecticut produced over 883 million eggs over 68 million eggs in a single month that's 245 eggs per person per year
First the the oocytes (eggs) are produced by the ovaries and travel into the infundibulum to the oviduct where they reache the AIJ (Ampullary-Isthmic Junction) or the site of fertilization. In order to be fertilized they must meet the male gametes (sperm) which have arrived after copulation past the cervix in the uterus. The spem then travel up the uterine horns to the oviduct where they meet the oocytes in the AIJ. The fertilized eggs then travel to the uterine horns where they attach to the uterine wall.
Gametogenesis in females is called oogenesis and is the development of unfertilised eggs called ova
The most recorded number of eggs a single longnose gar ever produced was about 77,000.
Probably the most eggs are produced the more in the battery hens systems at farms. Lots of eggs are produced by squashing terribly chickens in these confined spaces. So the eggs are produced the more at the locations where these are.
