The 1972-73 production passed 8,250 when the model was again discontinued. Value depends on condition, accessories, box, manual, etc.. You are in the 500-1200 range
As far as I know only the Model 64 Deerhunter had factory checkering. Sometimes this is called the Deluxe M 64 . Hope this helps.
