In Wicca and witchcraft there is the belief in 5 elements 4 elements of matter which I am sure you are already familiar with Earth, Air, Fire, Water but the fifth element is Spirit or Ether or Akasha all those names refer to the same. The fifth element is the "divine spark of life from "god" " and is found in all things animate and inaminate. A witch does not control the elements however a witch can harness the energy or power of the elements and manipulate it to the witches own personal will.
