start/my documents/EA games/The sims 2 and in the sims 2 file you have others that keep the neighborhood and saved sims and other very important things. don't mess with the files unless you know what you are doing.
When your sims move out they go to the family bar in the neighborhood screen

The code 'int prop max num of visiting sims' code does that you can decide how many sims you can invite over at the time or how many sims can come to a store or something like that :) you have to write this code in the neighborhood. examle: int prop max num of visiting sims 100
In The Sims 2, you can access the neighborhood view by clicking on the "Neighborhood" button located in the lower left corner of the screen. Alternatively, you can press the "F1" key to switch to neighborhood mode. From there, you can select different lots and households to manage. This view allows you to see and interact with all the lots in your neighborhood.
You can make them or choose an already made sim in the neighborhood or in the sims bin.
no you cannot move sims to another neighborhood
Yes...in my opinion. The sims 2 is a virtual human game. You control their hunger, emotions, and familys! its really fun, and its almost too realistic. but you need to be dedicated, and if you want sims 2, you have to have sims 1, but whatever you do, youll have fun, Im addicted!

In "The Sims 2" for PSP, the old library is located in the neighborhood area known as "Strangetown." You can access it by navigating through the neighborhood map and selecting the library icon. This location features bookshelves and study areas where your Sims can read and improve their skills.
I'm not sure about sims two, but when you un-install it should ask if you wanna remove saved data - say 'no'. If not then move the Sims files to a different location (probably do that in case it doesn't ask if you wanna keep the saved data)
