A lot of people has some kind of bi polar behavior. This doesn't turn then into serial killers who could be psychopaths who are suffering from chronic mental disorders with violent or abnormal social behaviors. Being bi polar doesn't make you dominant or have the urge of controlling persons thus becoming powerful figures in the wrong way. There is a more serious fact about serial killers and the fact is that it is virtually impossible to detect a serial killer. Many seem to be quiet normal in their everyday lives.

Many mental illnesses cause the sufferer to be 'rattled' or disorganized in thought and many times, in deed also. Disorganized killers make errors that result in their arrest, they would not make successful killers, at least not in the long run.
