A lot of people has some kind of bi polar behavior. This doesn't turn then into serial killers who could be psychopaths who are suffering from chronic mental disorders with violent or abnormal social behaviors. Being bi polar doesn't make you dominant or have the urge of controlling persons thus becoming powerful figures in the wrong way. There is a more serious fact about serial killers and the fact is that it is virtually impossible to detect a serial killer. Many seem to be quiet normal in their everyday lives.

//After checking FBI statistics and several mental health websites, I could find not a single known serial killer that suffers from bi polar mental illness. But this makes perfect sense. Many mental illnesses cause the sufferer to be 'rattled' or disorganized in thought and many times, in deed also. Disorganized killers make errors that result in their arrest, they would not make successful killers, at least not in the long run. It is far more common for this type of killer to suffer from a personality disorder, which is very different from mental illness.//
