It depends on how many fish you have, and the size of the fish. Usually, whatever your fish can consume in 5 minutes is how much they can eat. Mine is one of those oval goldfish, not the roundish kind with the flashy fins. I feed it one pellet twice a day.
Goldfish will eat anything that is edible to them but feed them fish food, such as flakes and pellets. You can find them at your local pet shop, just ask them for it.
Most people feed goldfish fish flakes or pellets. This is fine, as they are filled with nutrients, but fish need variety in their diet like humans. You can feed them peas, lettuce, cucumber, and other vegetables.
Read the contents on the packaging. The higher the protein content the better the food is usually. Cheap food is usually of a lower grade and your fish will reflect the quality of their food in their health and appearance. They seem to prefer to eat from the bottom so I feed pellets.
That is a matter of personal preference. Read the ingredients on the label and make your decision based on the higher the amount of protein the better the food is for goldfish.
Mosquito fish are not Goldfish. They are tropical livebearers. They may eat the goldfish food but it is not the right food for them and so will not be good for them.
Fish pellets or flakes made specifically for goldfish. Regular fish food doesn't give them the nutrients they need. Occasionally, you can give them a little hard boiled egg yolk as a treat :)
You obviously can but it is not the correct food so it will not do the right job. Manufacturers have spent millions of dollars designing and producing special foods for different species of fish to keep them as healthy as possible. The smart thing would be to feed goldfish food to goldfish and cichlid food to cichlids.
best to do flake or pellets food feed 3 times a day do how many about 2 or 3 per goldfish not too much. Do tropical or goldfish food to feed goldfish. They need cold water or as warm as tropical fish in degrees. You can put tropical with goldfish. You can put goldfish outside in a pond. WARNING! DON'T PUT TROPICAL IN POND OUTSIDE OR THEY WILL DIE! I MEAN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a lot you can feed your goldfish. First, there are those fish foods at the petstore. Flakes and sinkable pellets. I recommend to use sinkable pellets, because flakes, I think, make the habbit of the goldfish gulping at the top of the tank, which is an unhealthy thing to do. If the goldfish gulp at the surface too much, feed them the insides of boiled frozen peas. I feed my goldfish lettuce sometimes, too. They actually eat it! Goldfish are omnivores, so feeding them vegetables and sometimes occasional live foods will make them healthier!
Depends on the food type and size of the goldfish. 3cm Fish - Pellets. 1 in the morning maybe 1 in the evening depending on the behaviour of the fish. 3cm Fish - Flakes A sprinkle in the morning and in the evening
What kind of goldfish food? If it's fish flakes then definitely! I'm pretty sure you can feed any fish any fish food as long as it's not too big for the fish to actually eat or spiked with poison;)
No. But goldfish can eat tropical fish food, like bettas can. Do not feed goldfish any food that is for betta fish only. They can, but shouldn't there isn't enough nutrients in the food to keep goldfish healthy. Try flakes or pellets made specifically for goldfish. Not particularly only if the fighting fish is territorial, if so, quickly take the fighting fish out of the tank
