How many flag can you get in explore kit in Pokemon platinum?

I think you can get unlimeted, nuber of flag captures, but the moximum number that has any use is 50. after cirtain amounts of flags it will allow you to clear some boulders form your secret base at 50 your secret base should be empty of boulders.
