Surely that depends on the mass of the fluid you're using. 5 fluid ounces of ether would weigh less than 5 fluid ounces of water because ether is less dense than water and therefore lighter.
If you want a straight conversion from Ounces (Not fluid ounces) to grammes then this question has already been answered at ;
1 Imperial fluid ounce per gram = 0.0284130742 m3 / kg
That is 0.106 oz.
1502.52473 grams.
5oz weight or 5oz fluid? 1pound =16 oz =454grams approx., so 5oz weight = 113.5grams 1pint (imperial) = 0.568ltr or 568ml, so 5oz imp = 142ml approx. 1pint U.S. = 0.4544ltr or 454.4ml, so 5oz U.S. = 113.6ml approx.
5oz = 142g
Yes, 5oz = 141.75g
Approximately, yes: 5oz = 141.7g
Weight of water: 1 imperial fluid ounce = 28.41 grams 1 US fluid ounce = 29.57 grams
That is 5/8 of a cup.
2.5 ml is 5oz
5oz
It depends on the substance
Fill the 3oz and dump it into the 5oz. Fill the 3oz and fill the 5oz. That will leave you with 1oz in the 3oz jar. Empty the 5oz. Dump the 1oz into the 5oz. Then fill the 3oz and dump it into the 5oz.
One fluid ounce of pure water weighs 1.85 grams.
