It depends on the plane. If it's a small one like a two or four seat cessna, 150 gallons is pretty average. Jumbo jets might carry about 48,000-60,000 gallons
Yes, Delta is a good airline to fly. They have a good on-time percentage, good customer service agents. They also have more first class seats then any other airline, also more of their planes have wifi than any other airline.
The average salary of an airline pilot is $95,000 a year. Depending on the airline and whether they fly private jets or mainstream airlines will depend on how much they make.

JetBlue is the official airline of the Boston Red Sox and the New York Jets. (Based on major hubs at NYC-JFK and Boston)
JFK's very old terminals 2 and 3, (which are connected) has Delta mainline amd Comair flights. Gates 23 and 25 have the passengers go outside to Delta connection flights. Gates 17 and 18 have jetbridge's and hold Delta's larger regional jets. I have heard Delta is currently trying to come up with a longer term solution for this old style terminal arrangement.
Only military jets can be refuelled while flying. In the case of large jets a fuel transfer of up to 3,000 gallons is common
Starting in June, Airtran Airways will be flying Boeing 717 into Knoxville.
