Sony counts the games differently than you might and has a few thousand in there count. Wikipedia lists 700 different titles besides the Download games that do not have a disc available. There are games that are part of Playstation Home do you count them or the add ons and different Maps. What about games that the add ons have there own game disc and are totally different from the original Game. What about the games reissued in a move compatible format or with the Add ons included with the original discs. It is not a simple matter and the number of games continues to increase, but some are no longer produced and no longer available in new condition.
