The only gang they have around here is the gossiping gang everybody in everbody business besides there own..I've seen graffiti...of ones who claim they in a gang but no drive by shooting of the sort to say..Its a small town with minor problems of the sort..Now I have recently seen some latin king graffiti but the stores paint right over it the very next day..Trust me around here the laws won't play they be ready for some actions..Five cars deep even undercovers driving around they won't play that sh*t in this small town..But don't under mind this lil town they do have awhole lot of sneaky sh*t going on here..Never know they may just do have gangs they do wear awhole lotta red & I have notices some crips but its no where near like the city they move here to get away from that type of stuff it seems some change & glad to get away from all that wild life..But seems like they may be trying you know the young ones anyways but they stay getting lock up so no worries on them being out to start up much..But who knows hope not if they do I'm outta here..

So many inmates that get locked up and are sent down state to the prisons when parolled many of them dont want to go back to there original town so many of them move to towns like mt vernon and is the direct cause of mt vernon having the most convicted sex offenders then any other city in illinois.
