How many get killed on average on Black Friday?

There has only been one recorded death related to Black Friday in the United States.

In 2008, a Wal-mart employee was trampled to death by a stampede of 2,000 shoppers as she opened the door. The shoppers were not concerned about the employee. Police had to be called in with riot gear and pepper spray to control the shoppers so paramedics could reach the employee. She was crushed to death by the time they managed to reach her.

The British Government, when they heard the story, condemned the US people for their lack of remorse, lack of empathy and for idolising objects more than a life.

There have been many injuries, some caused by violence. But so far only one recorded death.
