I was classified as gifted at a young age. There are two tests, but the first is not an actual test. It was the fact you had to be recognized by a teacher, apply for the program, or pass the end of the year test and get classified as gifted. Then, you are automatically in the gifted class if you want to be, but only if you get recognized or pass the end of the year test as gifted. Then, comes the gifted test if you are not in the above. You can take the test according to grade level, and if you pass then you would be classified as gifted. You can leave the regular education classroom to go into the gifted classroom. (If you think it would be better if you skipped a grade, then you can consult the homeroom teacher and discuss the matter.) Here's a tip: Pressure in the gifted classrooms increases, so if you can not handle pressure and lots of work, I suggest staying in the regular education class, or consult the teacher about skipping if you think that would be better. Meeting the needs of a student active in the classroom is very important, so if you are a parent thinking about moving your child to a gifted classroom, I suggest you talk to the child about it. Remember, education is very important. Choosing the right classroom is very important, so going to open houses and parent teacher conferences is very necessary in the first years of being gifted. If your child's teacher thinks the child may not be ready, or is not keeping up with the work, a regular ed. class would be great. If the child has already made a friend or two, then a regular ed. classroom in that school would be a dream come true. Good luck, and I hope you have a great time doing whatever you choose.
largely it would depend on your teacher and how easy or hard the tests are. in my past experiences however class average is around 75% with that number rising to 85%-90% if you re in a gifted/enriched class
The possessive form of "the tests belong to the class" is "the class's tests."
because max wasnt smart enough for L.D class
a school that is gifted like lowell high at S.F. is probally better than an honors class because a lot of people are competing with eah other to see who is #1.
All A+s would be considered grades for a gifted5th grader. There are tests that can be given to test a gifted 5th graders IQ and grade level. Often gifted students will test at higher grade levels.

A gifted class is a class or classes of students who have shown above average talents or gifts in one or more academic areas. The students are given work and projects to enhance their learning and to engage them. Years ago the first gifted students were often placed in classes on an college campuses, and the classes were very small. Because the students were removed from people their own age the gifted student often had problems relating to peers, so to solve this gifted classes were started in schools where the students would normally attend. Today, gifted students may be on campus or located in a magnet school that offers special programs in the arts or technology.
The SATs/ACTs. Lucky though gifted students with 95% or higher on their tests receive opportunities to take them early and it won't count!
Personally, as a gifted education student, I think that, yes, some children of equal intelligence are being rejected from the gifted education program. I say this because certain children that i know score very well on State Tests, but then, if i may use a metaphore, "Crash and burn," on the other tests. This could be because they are very nervous while taking further tests, and rush through it...I don't know a whole lot on that part, but still...There has to be a lot of variables to consider. Hope that i helped! =D
Find a class in your local area. The American Heart Association has many different locations across the United States and there are many organizations that offer the BLS certification course. Purchase the class and all necessary materials. Attend all class sessions. Complete and pass the written and physical tests for the certification. After you have completed the class you will have to demonstrate your skills on written and physical tests.
it depends how many grades in the class you have.
