Depends on what you looking to do with it. 8Gb will allow you to do almost anything on a laptop. Heavy gaming will suffer, but stuff like Facebook, online games, some installed games etc will do just fine
Personal computer DVD drives that record 8.5 GB of data use 1 side, 2 layers. Professional DVD drives can use up to 4 layers, 2 on each side, for double the storage.

I'm assuming you mean "How many Gigabytes does World of Warcraft use or take up?" The answer is approximately 17.5GB. That is the size of my file atleast.
There are 1024 megabytes (MB) in a gigabyte(GB). this is the standard but sometimes we use 1GB=1000 MB for our ease.
1.3568837890625 GB there is 1024 in every GigaByte. Although there are people who use 1000, so 1.389GB
1278.976mb but then why not use a calculator and work it out yourself
you can use another 4859 megabytes (or 4 gb + 763 mb)
If we use the rule that: 1000 Megabytes = 1 Gigabyte, and you have 600 MB, it doesn't quite amount to 1 GB, you are 400 MB off.
A few MB at most
Exactly 0.510873047 GBs. 1000 KB= 1 MB 1000 MB= 1 GB
It would take around a Thousand Floppy's to hold 1 gigabyte of info
