There is no such thing as a brontobyte.

Official SI prefixes are

  • kilo: 1000
  • mega: 1000 kilo (1 million)
  • giga: 1000 mega (1 billion)
  • tera: 1000 giga (1 trillion)
  • peta: 1000 tera (1 qadrillion)
  • exa: 1000 peta (1 quintillion)
  • zetta: 1000 exa (1 sextillion)
  • yotta: 1000 zetta
I have never seen prefixes larger than peta in actual use. A petabyte-level computer is what DARPA (a US Military research program) hopes to have in a few years.

What is higher than a yotta byte?

Well really it goes a bit, a byte, a kilobyte, a megabyte, a gigabyte, a terabyte, a petabyte, a exabyte, a zetta byte, a yotta byte, a bronto byte, then a geopbyte. So theres two answers which are brontobyte and geopbyte.

1.4mb equals how many bytes?

There are technically 1,440,000 bytes that make up 1.44 megabytes. The floppy disk that used to be used to hold data for a computer was labeled as a 1.44 mb disk, although it actually held 1,474,560 bytes.

What is the biggest memory byte size I know there are bytes kilobytes megabytes gigabytes terabytes petabytes exabytes zettabytes.... but what's the biggest?

There is no such number because numbers has no limit.Normal person's computer, maybe 1-2 gigabytes of RAM. Most in the world is 80 terabytes - at a cost of nearly $5 million US. I think#2.) I am pretty sure that the biggest so far is a brontobyte, but like the person before me said, there is no limit because numbers never stop. **9-5-2008**#3.) The biggest byte of memory is called a Geopbyte. It consists of 1000 Brontobytes. We don't know why this term was created though, because nobody alive today will ever see a geopbyte of memory.More information:1 Brontobyte = 1000 Yottabytes 1 Yottabyte = 1000 Zettabytes 1 Zettabyte = 1000 Exabytes 1 Exabyte = 1000 Petabytes 1 Petabyte = 1000 Terabytes 1 Terabyte = 1000 Gigabytes 1 Gigabyte = 1000 Megabytes 1 Megabyte = 1000 Kilobytes 1 Kilobyte = 1000 BytesSource: http://www.whatsabyte.com 8/3/20084)BitByte,Kilobyte,Megabyte,Gigabyte,Terabyte,Petabyte,Exabyte,Zettabyte,Yottabyte,Brontobyte,Geopbyte,Sagnabytedogbytesharkbytemybyte (this one hurts)mosquitobytebigbytegiantbytelankybytefatbytefoodbyte5) the biggest so far is a kryatbyte it is 1000 SaganbyteEdit By HagefadeIt goes:BitByteKilobyteMegabyteGigabytethe biggest I've ever seen was a zettabyte.here are some comparisons to help you understand why nobody needs to know "bytes" this large.(a brontobyte his 10000000 times bigger than a zetta byte)1 zettabyte =80 times the information content of ---> all
